1. What does FABAO 101D smell like?

FABAO 101D, B, F and G are manufactured from high-quality Chinese medicinal plants. As a deliberate decision, no perfume agents are added, so the product has a natural herbal fragrance which is certainly not unpleasant.
 

2. Does the hair become greasy as a result of applying FABAO 101D?

No. FABAO is an aqueous (water-based) lotion which contains no oils or fatty substances whatsoever. This means that the hair does not become greasy either.
 

3. Are there people who have allergic reactions to FABAO 101D?

During all the clinical studies which have been carried out on FABAO 101D, the product was also investigated to determine its potential side-effects. None of these studies revealed any allergic reactions or other undesirable side-effects. In people whose scalp is very irritated, the lotion can cause a slight burning during the first two days, in view of the slight quantity of alcohol it contains - this phenomenon is known in the case of other hair lotions as well. However, this effect disappears very quickly, since the sensitive scalp is soothed by the application of FABAO 101D after a short while.
 

4. How often must the hair be washed during a course of treatment with FABAO?

Dr. Zhangguang recommends that the hair should be washed every 3 days. It is also important to use a gentle shampoo which does not destroy the scalp's natural acid resistance. It has been proven that many well-known branded shampoos offered for sale all over the world contain toxic preservatives such as formaldehyde. Dr. Zhangguang's "101" shampoos are guaranteed to be free of harmful chemical substances and they assist the regeneration of the scalp and hair roots. They also give the hair an attractive sheen and full volume.
 

5. How long does a bottle of FABAO 101D last?

One bottle of FABAO 101D contains 100 ml of concentrated tonic. It is applied sparingly to the scalp and massaged in gently. With daily applications to the entire scalp, one bottle will last between 4 and 6 weeks. If the treatment is only applied to single points, a bottle will last proportionately longer.
 

6. How long does it take for the first positive effects to become visible?

The first stage comes after about 3 to 4 weeks, when it can be seen that the existing hair is becoming stronger and rather more voluminous. People with dandruff or greasy hair start to see improvements after about 4 to 6 weeks. People taking a course of FABAO treatment to arrest hair loss will notice the first progress after about 6 to 8 weeks. The principle here is: the longer the hair loss has already been present, the longer the body will need for the regeneration process. Anyone who has had severe hair loss for only 3 months will probably experience some stabilization after as little as 2 weeks, but for older people who may already have suffered from hair loss for 10 years, it can take 10 weeks for the hair to regain its original firm consistency.
 

7. When does new hair start to grow again?

Although the hair roots are reactivated shortly after the FABAO treatment starts, it takes 10 to 11 weeks until the first new hair pushes through the scalp - this is due to biological reasons. In most cases, your hairdresser or barber will notice the first small new hairs when your hair is being washed. After this, the growth increases from month to month; in other words, more and more new hairs become visible, and of course they become longer and longer. These new hairs are healthy, strong head hair and not the thin "fluff" which often occurs with minoxidil treatments. In our experience, the regrowth of new hair is completed after about 8 to 12 months.

With a FABAO treatment, new hair can only grow where the hair roots have not yet died off. For this reason, the maximum possible amount of new hair depends very much on the user's age. This fact is also reflected clearly in all the clinical studies: in the under-25 age group, 77% of new hair grows back (by comparison: minoxidil 8.7%), for the 36 to 40 age group, the figure is 57% (minoxidil: 6.1 %), for the 51- to 55 age group, the figure is 31% (minoxidil: 3.0%) and for users aged over 60, the rate is only 7% (minoxidil: 0.9%).

Important: on the other hand, success with treatment for hair loss is NOT age-dependent; the success rate here is between 90 and 94% for all age groups. This means that older people can also arrest their hair loss with FABAO just as reliably as younger users.
 

8. What are the limits for FABAO 101D?

Due to the intense strength of natural plant-based substances, the effects shown by FABAO are far above average. However, even FABAO has to obey the limits imposed by nature, and these become clear when it comes to the regrowth of new hair in older people (see above). From 55 years of age onwards, the amount of hair that can grow again is relatively small.
